Description:
"In Business Writing, you will apply the composition principles you worked on in your preliminary writing classes to communicating in a business context, and you will learn new ways to use writing as a mode of inquiry and expression. In an increasingly text-based world, practicing effective writing and communication strategies is one of the most important things you can do to increase your overall career success. Through a process-oriented approach, you will learn to create effective correspondence, reports and proposals, e-mails, press releases, and other business documents. We will also look at basic principles of web and presentation design and the impact of cross-cultural communication on business writing strategies.
