Prerequisites: Departmental approval; concurrent or completion intermediate field experience (CURR 410) and permission of the English teacher education coordinator. Communicating both the discipline and the human dimensions of English as a subject in the classroom, including familiarization with adolescent literature and the uses of computers in the English classroom. A course in the professional sequence not credited to the English major requirements. 4 hours lecture.
