Description:
Women Prose Writers. Prerequisites: ENWR 106 or HONP 101. In this course, we will consider the ways women writers address gender, sexuality, race, class and nation.The readings will be contemporary and will be mostly fiction. The readings we consider will include writers based in the U.S. and abroad. Readings may include works by Ruth Ozeki, Yoko Ogawa, Sandra Cisneros, Ana Castillo, and Arundhati Roy, among others.
