Description:
In this course we will examine how LGBT individuals have been written and have written themselves in a variety of contexts. We will read novels both by and depicting LGBT individuals as well as articles in the field of rhetoric and composition. In addition, a significant portion of the class will be devoted to analyzing an online LGBT presence. We will explore issues of identity, representation, and activism.
