Description:
This writing-intensive course focuses on the skills needed for effective communication of technical issues to non-technical audiences. Students will learn how to be technical writers. Students will learn how to analyze complex communication situations and design appropriate responses through tasks that involve problem solving, rhetorical analysis, document design, oral presentations, writing teams, audience awareness and ethical considerations. The course fulfills the Applied Course requirement for the Professional and Public Writing Minor, and is also available for English major credit.
