This course is designed for English majors and will focus on the further development of critical reading and writing skills by working with a variety of British and American literary texts, many from the start of the twentieth century. Students will learn and apply the vocabulary, writing conventions, research methods and documentation practices of the discipline, while engaging in close reading and literary analysis.
