"Fairy Tales and Their Discontents: (De)Constructing Gender"
In this course we will read pairs of fairy tales (from ancient traditions to more popular retellings). These tales will be a spring board for discussions about gender constructs, sexuality, and courtship rituals.

Students will complete a series of writing assignments.
