American Indian Themes. Prerequisites: ENWR 106 or HONP 101. "American Indian Themes" will be organized around the following topics: attitudes toward the land and animals; relationship to the divine and its manifestations, gods and goddesses; culture, specifically understood as arts and rituals; gender identities and family structures; political realities of a conquered people. 3 hours lecture.
