Description:
This course will introduce students to the craft of fiction writing. Students will learn how to develop character, plot, and setting, and how to write effective dialogue and vivid description.. Students will have the opportunity to explore their creativity through in-class exercises, and by writing their own original short stories. Published stories will also be analyzed and discussed with particular consideration given to effective writing technique.
Prerequisite requirement: ENWR-106 or HONP-101.
