THIS IS A HYBRID COURSE

The Art of Poetry and the Art of Revolution
In this course we will read British and American poets who contributed to, commented on, or kicked off revolutions of all kinds. Some of them will be British writers from the eighteenth and nineteenth century; others will be contemporary poets, writing in voices that feel familiar. In addition to learning how to read and interpret poems, students will have an opportunity to design writing assignments based on their own interests.
