A survey of representative comedies and histories, such as THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, AS YOU LIKE IT, RICHARD THE THIRD, RICHARD THE SECOND, HENRY THE FOURTH, Part One, and HENRY THE FIFTH. COURSE REQUIREMENTS: two short (5 page) papers, a midterm exam and a final exam.
