And did the twin flame bruise paint you blue? Just between us, did the love affair maim you, too? Write it out—part two. This course is designed to further students' study of the craft of writing poetry in a workshop environment. Through writing exercises and readings drawn from a variety of aesthetic traditions, students will continue to practice basic principles of prosody and composition, build on fundamentals of form and construction, and think carefully about poetic “voice” and “style.” Prerequisite: ENWR 212.
