This course gives you a foundation in the various techniques of fiction writing (e.g., plot, structure, characterization, dialogue, description, setting, time, and point of view), and it will give you the opportunity to use these tools in your own fiction writing. You will also develop skills important to the creative process: critiquing fiction, reading analytically, and revising your work.
