This course deepens students' skills, knowledge, and understanding related to teaching secondary English (grades 6-12). Students will learn how to develop and implement lesson plans for a wide variety of English Language Arts (ELA) experiences. as well as how to develop and implement entire units of study. The course deepens students' skills as classroom teachers through a wide range of experiences, including actual instruction; creation of assessments and rubrics; and more.
