Description:
In this course you will read, write, and revise poetry. We will discuss principles, techniques, styles and forms. Several classes will consist of workshops devoted to writing, revising, reading aloud, and responding to your and your classmates’ poetry. The emphasis in workshop will be toward improving our work through the revision process. By the end of the course, we will all have a stronger sense of our voice, style, themes, and obsessions.
